Roles & Opportunities
Student Leaders may serve in roles such as:
- Orientation Leaders
- Peer Mentors
- Event Coordinators
- Student Ambassadors
- Committee Representatives
Orientation Leaders guide incoming students through their first days on campus, helping them navigate resources, build community, and feel at home. This role is perfect for outgoing students who enjoy mentoring and public speaking.
Peer Mentors provide one-on-one guidance to fellow students, offering advice on study habits, time management, and campus life. This role builds empathy, communication, and leadership skills.
Event Coordinators plan and execute student-centered events—from workshops and socials to awareness campaigns. This role is ideal for creative thinkers who enjoy logistics, teamwork, and making things happen.
Student Ambassadors serve as the face of the institution at open houses, campus tours, and community events. They share their experiences, answer questions, and help prospective students feel welcome.
Committee Representatives sit on university or departmental committees, contributing student perspectives to policies, programs, and initiatives. This role is great for students interested in advocacy, governance, or policy.
