Pursuant to 34 C.F.R. § 668.46(b)(12), Coppin State University hereby notifies all students, faculty, staff, and visitors that information about registered sex offenders in the State of Maryland is available from the Maryland Department of Public Safety and Correctional Services (DPSCS).

Members of the University community may access this information through the Maryland Sex Offender Registry at https://dpscs.maryland.gov/onlineservs/socem/default.shtml.

This site provides details regarding registered sex offenders who reside, work, or attend school in Maryland. The University’s Department of Public Safety also receives updates from law enforcement agencies as permitted by law and maintains internal awareness procedures consistent with privacy and safety obligations.
