In the News: Coppin State University Featured in The EDU Ledger on Growth in Black Male Enrollment

BALTIMORE — Coppin State University is featured in The EDU Ledger for its significant growth in male undergraduate enrollment and efforts to support Black men through college and toward graduation. New male undergraduate enrollment at Coppin increased 42% from fall 2025 to fall 2026 and has grown 74% since 2021. President Anthony L. Jenkins discussed the university’s student-centered approach, including listening to what male students need, strengthening mentorship and helping students connect their college education to long-term career and leadership opportunities.
