I am an Assistant Professor in the Department of Mathematics and Computer Science at Coppin State University, where I blend energy, innovation, and a passion for technology in the classroom and the lab. I earned my Ph.D. in Information Systems from UMBC, where I conducted research in AI, NLP, and data-driven decision support systems. My work centers on designing intelligent models that help organizations understand complex systems through data analytics, clustering, and machine learning. At Coppin, I teach a wide range of computer science and information systems courses and mentor students on research and capstone projects. I am also leading curriculum innovation, including the development of a new Master’s program in Computer Science. My recent recognition includes receiving the Maryland Open Source Textbook (M.O.S.T.) Initiative Grant for instructional innovation. I love empowering students to explore AI, discover new technologies, and prepare for modern computing careers.
