The Division of Information Technology (DolT) is excited to announce a significant technological upgrade that will enhance your computing experience across our campus. We are implementing a comprehensive Windows 11 upgrade plan designed to deploy new devices, upgrade student computing areas, and provide you with the latest tools for academic and professional excellence.
This upgrade represents our commitment to providing the Coppin State University community with cutting-edge technology that supports your academic and professional goals. Just as Eagles soar to great heights, we're elevating our technology infrastructure to help you achieve yours.
Upgrade Timeline & Schedule
Our Digital User Experience team will be available throughout this transition to assist with any questions. We will provide additional communication as each phase begins, including specific timelines for your department or area.
Phase 1: Summer Lab Upgrades
Computer labs currently out of use during the summer semester will receive priority upgrades to Windows 11.
Status: Complete
Phase 2: Active Lab Preparation
Computer labs and smart classrooms, which are scheduled for use during the fall semester, will begin their Windows 11 upgrade process.
Timeline: August 2025
Phase 3: Faculty & Staff Deployment
New desktops and laptops with Windows 11 will be deployed to faculty and staff offices.
Timeline: September 2025
