The School Administrator I Certification is an 18 credit hour Maryland State Department of Education (MSDE)-approved for those who seek Administrator I certification, this program allows education professionals who are currently certified or licensed, and working in schools or school systems, to be eligible to receive School Administrator I certification for Assistant Principal. The program is designed for education professionals who possess a current teaching certificate, and have a Master’s degree in an education related field. These professionals will receive Administrator I certification as Assistant Principals upon completion of the required courses and submission of other MSDE required information and documentation.
