May I take this opportunity to extend my warmest and sincere welcome to the website of the Department of Natural Sciences. The Department offers very flexible programs that provide high standard of instruction and experience for undergraduate students.

As you browse through the website, you will see that our programs prepare students for many careers in the medical fields; research and graduate studies. While completing their course of study, our students have opportunities to engage in a variety of internships with local and national agencies, as well as to conduct independent research.

The Department is currently an active partner in STEM and Maxie Collier Programs at the University and has a number of Collaborative Programs with other institutions to enrich the undergraduate experience and to facilitate the transition to post-baccalaureate studies.

We encourage our students to participate in student clubs and organizations, including the Beta Kappa Chi Honor Society and the STEM Club.

If you would like to have additional information, please feel free to contact us at (410) 951-4111.
