Coppin State University (CSU) Office of Human Resources is committed to quality, timely and accurate service using cost-effective, best-practice methods with the highest professional and ethical standards. We seek to create and sustain a highly qualified workforce and a quality of work life that will assist the University in fulfilling its mission: offering students a quality education, providing community service and presence within a caring environment.

Human Resources must be flexible and responsive to the specific and often unique requirements of individual areas, while at the same time maintaining equity across the institution. Each employee is valued for his/her unique contributions in attaining the University's goals.

We provide services in the areas of recruitment and selection, remuneration and reward, job classification (non faculty), preemployment testing, benefits, employee/labor relations and discipline, new employee orientation, performance evaluation, staff training and development, and many other required services in the area of human resource management.
