Campus Recreation and Wellness

We offer recreational and wellness programs and activities for students, faculty, staff, and community members. We design our programs and activities to be fun, create excitement, and help our campus community lead holistically healthy lifestyles.

To have full access to Campus Recreation and Wellness services, you must be a Coppin student, faculty, or staff member with a current Eagle Card or a community member with a Campus Recreation and Wellness membership card.

Students and Campus Recreation and Wellness members may check out equipment with a current Eagle Card ID or membership card. Show you ID card at the Equipment Desk on the 1st floor of the PEC, next to the pool.

Members can claim and report items in the Lost and Found. Our staff keep all items in Lost and Found for 2 weeks, and then we either discard or donate them.

Any items of significant value (i.e. jewelry, wallet, etc.), we immediately take to Campus Police.

Campus Recreation and Wellness is not responsible for any lost or stolen items. We encourage all members and guests to secure all valuables and belongings before entering any recreation or wellness areas.

Every member and guest must show an ID card, membership card, or guest pass to use Campus Recreation and Wellness facilities. When you present your ID at the front desk, you will get a wristband to wear.

Members and guests must put on wristbands within view of front desk staff, and keep them on while using recreation and wellness facilities.

Please note that the wristbands use a hypoallergenic adhesive. If you are concerned about skin irritation from the wristbands, please purchase a sweat band to wear on your wrist and place the wristband around it.

Wearing a wristband identifies you to the Campus Recreation & Wellness Center staff as being a valid member of the Coppin State University community or a guest thereof, and allows you to use the facilities. Wristband checks are used to ensure that only members of the Coppin State University community, and their guests, are using the facilities.

If you use the Campus Recreation & Wellness Center facilities and do not wear a wristband, you will be asked to please return to the front desk to receive a wristband in order to continue using the facilities.
