Coppin State University offers emergency financial aid grants that may be used for any component of a students cot of attendance or emergency costs that arise due to the coronavirus, such as:

  • Tuition
  • Food
  • Housing
  • Childcare
  • Health care (including mental health care)

Who’s Eligible?

Students enrolled at Coppin on or after the date of the declaration of the national emergency (March 13, 2020) may be eligible for this emergency financial aid grant from the Higher Education Emergency Relief Fund (HEERF), regardless of whether they completed a FAFSA or are eligible for Title IV.

How to Apply

  1. Students should download and complete the Student economic financial hardship application (pdf).
  2. Email your completed application to bursar@coppin.edu.
  3. You will be notified of your eligibility within 7 to 10 days of receipt of your application.
