How to apply for graduation
- A student must complete the graduation application with accurate data and pay the non-refundable fee. The Undergraduate, Graduate and Doctoral application cost is $50.00.
- Indicate a Graduation Completion term/session; Summer I, Summer II, Fall, Winter or Spring.
- Candidate's registration will be deactivated to prohibit further enrollment beyond graduation date.
Graduation application
- The graduation application deadline is posted on the academic calendar.
- Candidates that fail to adhere to the deadline date will not have their name listed in the Commencement booklet.

When to get the graduation application: Nearing the conclusion of your Junior year, 2nd semester
How to earn a degree
- Successfully complete all general education requirements, major requirements, minor requirements, concentration/track requirements, and University requirements.
- Earn a minimum GPA of a 2.0 or higher. SPMT majors; 2.3, ECED, EDUC, NURS & SOWK; 2.5.
- All students must earn at least 120 credits.
- Successful completion of all (I) Incomplete grades.
- Complete departmental exit assessment (for further detail contact advisor).
- Review transcript for missing grades & (I) incomplete grades, this will definitely delay awarding of degree.
- Ensure Course Exception (s): Substitution and/or Waiver have been received by the Office of Records and Registration. This may be verified in the EagleLINKS>Student Center>Academic Requirement area.
