McGraw-Hill, parent company of Tegrity, has decided to end the Tegrity Campus Subscription Service to concentrate its resources and technology investments in other core areas of their company. This is a bittersweet moment because as one of Tegrity’s first customers almost 15 years ago, we’re sad to see the end of a valued relationship. Nevertheless, it’s exhilarating because we can identify a new software that will enhance the lecture campus experience for students and faculty.
A team within ITD diligently worked to identify reliable and progressive lecture capture solutions that would be suitable for our campus. From eleven prospective vendors, we narrowed it down to three tools that best meet our requirements:
YOUR FEEDBACK AND INPUT ABOUT SELECTING THE NEXT LECTURE CAPTURE SOFTWARE IS CRITICAL!!!! As part of the 15th Annual Dr. Habtu Braha Information Technology in Teaching and Learning Conference on Thursday, May 23, 2019, each of these vendors will give a demonstration. A detailed schedule will be published soon. Please register for the conference so you can give feedback about the different presentations.
In the meantime, take a moment to read these FAQs about the lecture capture migration, including questions you may have about training, saving your recordings, and the implementation timeline for the new system. If the FAQs don’t address your questions or concerns, please email firstname.lastname@example.org, and a team member will follow-up with you.
Thank you for your continued support as we move to the next generation of lecture capture at Coppin State University.
