Coppin State University Ranked Among Best HBCUs

College Choice list CSU as one of Top 50 for 2017

Coppin State University (CSU) announced has been ranked among the Best Historically Black Colleges and Universities (HBCUs) for 2017.

The ranking was issued by College Choice, an independent online publication designed to help students and families find the right college. College Choice publishes rankings and reviews in multiple categories ranging from programmatic focus, affordability, online courses, resources, and more.

Coppin State University is a historically black institution, founded in 1900.  The University offers 32 undergraduate and 11 graduate degrees, along with nine certificate programs and a micro-credentialing badging program. Coppin’s most recent advanced academic offering is the Doctor of Nurse Practice (DNP) program, which continues the university’s long tradition of training dedicated and committed health care professionals.

CSU ranked #31 on the College Choice ranking of the top 50 HBCUs. College Choice states that when you study at Coppin State, you will work with professors who are recognized internationally. Coppin faculty members are acknowledged for excellence in teaching, IT research and more.
