DEADLINE Monday, OCT. 3

The focus for this issue will be on women's issues. We're looking for news/opinions on the state of womanhood---everything from the presidential candidacy of Hillary Clinton to sororities on campus, to women athletes, to the Lesbian community, to the new day care center.... and oh, yes, did I mention it? HAIR!

But all stories are welcome and will be considered.

Stories should be pasted into an email or sent as attachment to:

Listed below are the editorial guidelines designed to guide you in writing articles for submission to PULSE.

GUIDELINES:

Qualifications for articles to be submitted and published are as follows:

  • Must be on topics relevant to the student community 
  • Must be an original article written by the person submitting 
  • Must be 200 – 250 words
  • Must have proper English, spelling, grammar and sentence structure.
  • Must not contain hate-oriented or violent content, have an insulting or degrading tone, or demean any individual or group
  • Must not be an extreme self-promotion of any kind
  • Must include your full name as all authors are listed along with their article
  • Must have shelf-life of at least two months
