Coppin Family Campaign
Thank you to all who contributed to the Coppin Family Campaign in 2016! We raised over $60,000 from close to 200 faculty and staff.
The 2017 Coppin Family Campaign will officially launch on September 25th. Will you be counted in this year’s effort?
Your dedication to the students through your daily routine and tasks is noticed and appreciated. And your influence doesn’t have to stop there. We want every Coppin family member to participate in this campaign in order to show our support for the mission of the University. Your generosity can inspire others to give as well. Our faculty and staff giving participation helps us when applying for grants or pursuing large donations. Any amount counts! It’s your participation that matters. You can give online, through payroll deduction or via check. We look forward to your support!

Frequently Asked Questions
What is the Coppin Family Campaign?
It's the campus' annual faculty and staff fundraising campaign. Since 2007, gifts to the University from current faculty and staff have totaled over $300,000. This campaign challenges each of us to consider our personal support for Coppin and our students and the ways we can make a difference above and beyond our daily work.
But I work here! Why would I give to my employer?
For the same reason many of us support our churches and other non-profit organizations—to help fulfill a need that you feel is important. Coppin has fulfilled an important need in the community for over 117 years and requires sustained support from those who believe in our mission. When we as faculty and staff make a gift, it strengthens the case for outside funders to support the University. It's hard to ask the community to support us if we don’t invest in ourselves. It starts with us.
How much am I being asked to give?
You determine your gift amount according to your own charitable interests, your personal willingness to give, and your financial capacity. No gift is too small. Every dollar and every employee counts.
How will my gift be used?
That is up to you! The most popular designation is the Annual Fund but there many other options to choose from. See the full list here.
How do I make a gift?
Thank you for your support! You can make a gift one of the following ways:
- Payroll Deduction: Enroll in a new payroll deduction, continue your deduction or modify a current deduction by completing a Payroll Deduction Card. Request one now.
- Check: Complete the Gift Form and bring or send through inter-office mail to the Office of Institutional Advancement.
- Credit Card: Make a gift online
