Cataliotti, Ph.D., shares the essential and innovative role that drumming has played in nineteenth century Congo Square to today's thriving music scene. “The exhibit traces New Orleans drummers central to the development of the drum set, and the beats they created and continue to create – definitive in jazz — traditional to modern, R&B, rock 'n roll and funk."
