2017 Chester W. Gregory, Sr. Annual Colloquium, “Celebrating Academic Excellence.” The Annual Colloquium Lecture was formally launched in April 2007 as an initiative that recognizes the scholarly research and commitment to academic excellence on behalf of Dr. Chester W. Gregory, Sr., who ably served Coppin State University for many years. The Colloquium is also in recognition of Dr. Gregory’s generosity for having established an endowment to promote scholarly historical studies and activities for history majors.  Please join us for the Tenth Annual Chester W. Gregory, Sr. Colloquium to be held on Thursday, April 20, 2017, at 6:00 p.m. in the Talon Center Atrium.  Keynote Address by Ms. Deborah Tulani Salahu-din, Museum Specialist, Smithsonian’s National Museum of African American History and Culture in Washington D.C. .
