Dr. Wanda McCoy is a proud Coppin alum with a BS in Early Childhood Education. Her Masters and PhD are in Elementary Mathematics Education. She taught 2nd and 3rd grade math and science in Baltimore City Public School System prior to joining the faculty at Coppin. Her research interests focus on Mastering Basic Math Facts, Social Justice Education in elementary math classrooms and Using Mindfulness to reduce math anxiety.
