The National Criminal Justice Honor Society’s mission is the “promotion of critical thinking, rigorous scholarship and lifelong learning; and the elevation of the ethical standards of the criminal justice professions.”  Coppin is home to the Nu Zeta Chapter.  Criminal Justice students who qualify can become life-long members and join with thousands of others who identify nationally as successful students of criminal justice and criminology.


Undergraduate Students:

  • Completed three full-time semesters or its equivalent
  • Must attain a minimum GPA of 3.2 on a 4.0 scale in their cumulative and criminal justice classes
  • Rank in the top 35 % of their class
  • A minimum of four courses of the above coursework shall be in the criminal justice field

Graduate Students:

  • Enrolled in the Criminal Justice Graduate Program or related field
  • Completed four courses
  • Have a minimum GPA of 3.4 on a 4.0 scale or rank in the upper 25% of their class
