Surplus Computer Sale

As a result of the campus wide PC upgrade/replacement at Coppin State University (CSU), surplus computers will be available for purchase by students, faculty, staff, and the general public. We have two options this year, a desktop computer including a monitor for $125 per system and a desktop computer without a monitor for $75 per system.

Below are the specs of the surplus computers for sale. Sorry…No Laptops!!! Desktops Only!!

  • HP ProDesk 600 G2 SFF, Intel Core i5-6500 (3.20GHz, 4 cores, 4 Logical Processors)
  • 500-Gig hard drive
  • 8 Gig memory
  • DVD reader
  • VGA and DisplayPort video outputs
  • Integrated Intel I219-LM Gigabyte Ethernet
  • USB Keyboard
  • USB Mouse
  • HP (21.5”) wide screen monitor with webcam with VGA and DisplayPort inputs (only included with the $125 per system option)
  • Installed Windows 10 Pro with product code
  • Microsoft Office 365 can be downloaded by current CSU students, faculty, and staff at no charge.
  • These units have been in service at CSU for approximately 5 years.
$125 per system (includes monitor) or $75 per system

If you are interested in purchasing a computer, complete the CSU Surplus PC System Purchase Form and present it along with your CSU picture ID (or photo ID for non-CSU buyers) and $125 per system or $75 per system payment to the Cashier in the Miles Connor Administration Building. The Cashier is open Monday - Friday from 8:30 am - 4:30 pm. Bring your receipt to room 111 of the Grace Hill Jacobs building for same-day computer pickup.

  • These systems are being sold in “AS IS” operating condition. NO RETURNS. After acceptance, CSU is not responsible for any maintenance or service.
  • If you purchase a system without a monitor, any monitor with VGA or DisplayPort inputs are compatible.
  • Systems do not include built in wi-fi capability. A USB wireless adapter is required to connect to your home wireless network for internet access (not included in system purchase).

Remember, there are a limited number of these computers and they will be sold on a first come first served basis until all systems are sold out. There is no limit on the amount that can be purchased.
