James E. McDonald Child Development Center offers exceptional curriculum for preschoolers. Our programs provide children with optimal developmentally appropriate learning experiences to support their individual development across all developmental domains.
Our preschool program follows a thematically based curriculum that aligns all activities and learning experiences with a universal design for learning. Teachers are required to base lesson planning and educational curriculum on the interest and natural curiosity of the young children in care to ensure that student's respective learning styles are fully supported.
Preschool Program Hours: 8:00am-5:30pm (Ages 2-4 years)
* 2 and 3 day before and after care is for college students only.

Our drop-in care service assists in meeting the varying child care needs of parents with diverse educational and professional daily scheduling demands. Our drop in child care centers have age-appropriate activities for all age groups we service. Students follow a daily schedule and routine that includes hands on activities, play based learning, social and cognitive development.
Drop-in Hours: 8:00am-8:30pm (Preschool/School Age 2-10 years). 4 hours per day.
Our afterschool program aims to meet the supervision expectations of working parent(s) who desire optimal enrichment for their child/children. Our afterschool program is equipped with support staff that is prepared to address the academic and recreational needs of elementary school age students. Students are accommodated within a safe and secure environment where they are provided supplemental educational supports.
After School Hours: 3:30pm-8:30pm (School Age 5-10 years)
