Join us for our Virtual Paint Party. This is a fun way to connect with fellow Coppin alumni, family, and friends, while social distancing at home. Rediscover your inner artist and create your next masterpiece.

The deadline to register for the Virtual Paint Party is Friday, October 16, 2020.

Event Registration

Paint kits will be mailed to the address of record on the registration form. Paint kits will be shipped on or around November 4, 2020. Shipping is included in the registration fee.

Your $40 registration includes:

  • Virtual step-by-step instruction via Zoom or a similar platform
  • 11x14 stretched canvas
  • 3 paint brushes
  • 6 basic color acrylic paint pots
  • 1 paper plate

What is included in the paint kit?

  • Virtual step-by-step instruction via Zoom or a similar platform
  • 11x14 stretched canvas
  • 3 paint brushes
  • 6 basic color acrylic paint pots
  • 1 paper plate

What supplies do I need to provide? 

  • Laptop, cell phone, tablet, or another internet connected device to log into Zoom link
  • An open space to paint with adequate lighting
  • Newspaper or plastic tablecloth to cover tables
  • A cup or jar half full of water
  • Paper towels or an old rag to clean brushes
  • Blow dryer to speed drying time if you need it (optional)

What platform will you use? 

Coppin State University’s Office of Alumni Engagement has partnered with Deja Hue Art to host this event on our behalf. The company will use Zoom or a similar platform. The university does not select, represent, endorse, or support the online platform chosen. 

When will I receive the paint kit? 

Paint kits will be mailed to the address of record on the registration form on or around November 4, 2020. Participant information will only be shared with the host for the purposes of the event. We will not sell, share, or rent your personal information to any third party for unsolicited mail. Any correspondence sent by our partner will only be used in connection for the agreed services and products.

How do I access the event? 

The Office of Alumni Engagement will email you a Zoom link approximately one week prior to the event for use on Saturday, November 14th at noon. Please register in advance and log in 5 minutes prior to the start time. 

What is the refund policy?

All transactions are final. If for some reason you are unable to attend, we will provide a replay link from the event so you may create your painting when time permits.
