The Community Dance Program is specifically designed for those interested in exploring dance as a contemplative performing art form. The program offers classes in dance movement, yoga, meditation, and tai chi as well as holistic mind-body workshops such as The Law of Attraction or Change Your Thoughts, Change Your Life!

Students are also invited to join Coppin State University Dance Ensemble to hone their performance skills, and register for movement technique classes that focus on improving your skills as an artist-educator.

The program is open to both seasoned dancers with extensive experience, and novice dancers pursuing a dream come true. For more information contact Dance Program Coordinator, Professor Vanessa L. Jackson, 2500 W. North Avenue, Baltimore, Maryland 21216 vanjackson@coppin.edu or 410-951-3355
