Mr. Al Erdman
Al Erdman brings over 30 years of experience in higher education, private industry and public accounting to Coppin State University. He is currently Deputy Chancellor for Resource Management at Central Texas College in Killeen, Texas, with over 75,000 students at 150 locations worldwide. CTC is the largest provider of two year degrees to soldier students and their families. Erdman has spent the last 12 years in colleges in three states, including two of the largest systems in the nation. Prior to entering higher education, Erdman spent 20 years as Corporate Controller for Sericol in Kansas City, Missouri, one of 250 worldwide companies owned by Burmah Castrol PLC. Erdman has also worked as a Senior Field Auditor for Deloitte and began his career as an assistant buyer for the May Company Department Stores.
Mr. John Spinard
John Spinard has over twenty-five years of broad financial and strategic planning experience in both corporate and not-for-profit industries. For the past fifteen years, John has worked in higher education at both Boston College and Tufts University, where the various roles he assumed have provided him opportunities to apply creativity to solving problems, develop useful financial tools, and to effectively manage people as well as projects. John holds a BA in Economics and an MBA in Finance from Boston College. He currently lives in Massachusetts with his wife and two children.
