Students shall complete the following by July 1st before the beginning of each FALL Semester:
All students are required to have an annual Health History and Physical completed by their Primary Care Provider. Students can also schedule an appointment to be seen in the Community Health Center by calling (410) 951-4188. Healthcare providers are required to use the form provided by the School of Nursing.
All students are required to wear the Coppin State University regulation uniform. The uniform must be ordered no later than July 1 to be received in time for the first clinical day. The community uniform shall include the white polo and navy blue pants.
In addition to the nursing uniform, you will need to obtain the following accessories:
Nursing student CPR certification is required yearly for all courses having a clinical rotation. Students must submit a copy of their CPR card to the CHP Student Affairs and Retention [STAR] Office by July 1st before the beginning of each FALL Semester. All cards must be valid through spring semester (May 30th of each school year).
A CPR class is scheduled in June of each year from 8:00 am - 4:00 pm for Certification and Recertification. The cost will be communicated to you and will be paid in Cash Only.
