| STEM Stipend Guidelines |

Coppin State University will award stipends to students majoring in Chemistry, Biology Computer Science, General Science, and Mathematics as part of the Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics (STEM) academic enhancement program. Only students who are US citizens or permanent residents of the US are eligible. The annual $500 and $1000 stipends are competitive and will be awarded at the end of each semester.
NOTE: Since the selection for the receipt of stipends ($500 or $1000 stipends) will be competitive, all candidates are advised to aim at maintaining the following recommended overall GPA and GPA in the major:
- Freshman Year 2.0
- Sophomore 2.5
- Junior/Senior 2.75 or above
