Resources available to the Department of Social Work students:
Coppin State University Social Work Association was founded by the Social Work Department’s former Chairperson, Dr. Eloise Bridges approximately 20 years ago. This student organization was established to provide students with information about the field of Social Work. Additionally, the Association was created to assist students in planning social work career goals as well as to provide a mutual support system for students that would meet their educational plus their personal needs. Moreover, the Association was developed to provide services which would support the well-being of the campus, the neighborhood, and the community as well as to increase awareness on the Coppin campus of the Social Work program.
