Living and Learning Communities
Our living and learning communities allow participants to meet their particular needs by engaging in the pursuit of common goals and exploring the depths of their selected field of study while using knowledge gained to solve real world problems in various situations. The ultimate goal is for students to graduate with a valued degree and a unique experience via programs and facilities to support the needs of all community members.
The HFSON LLC is designed to help students during the first two years that they are transitioning to the University. Students are able to integrate curricular and residential life in a collaborative environment with other nursing students. This community allows for the delivery of education to be student centered and real-world applicable. Faculty members work collaboratively with students to prepare them for graduation and the workforce.
The Honors College LLC is designed to prepare academic savvy students for graduate school. This community provides honor students with access to state-of-the-art facilities that are on par with those at other national honors colleges.
