The objective of this certificate program is to introduce students to the concepts and applications of job development and job placement services for both the consumer and the employer and to provide current training techniques to increase the employment outcomes and job retention for individuals with disabilities. Emphasis is placed on technology in the workplace and special services for individuals who are blind or have vision impairments, and individuals who are deaf or hard of hearing.

The program consists of a minimum of 18 semester hours. Students must complete 15 semester hours of coursework and an internship of (3) three semester hours.
