Admission Policies And Procedures
Master of Science in Reading

Admission

Applicants who are currently certified teachers or hold a valid teaching certificate must be eligible to be admitted first to the Division of Graduate Studies. (See Coppin State University Graduate Catalog). Secondly, applicants must apply for admission to the Master of Science in Reading Program. Potential students must take either the Miller Analogies (MAT) or the Graduate Record Examination (GRE). Three years of successful teaching preceding the request for admission and three current letters of recommendation are also required.
