Second time is a charm for Coppin State University’s Club Football.
The Coppin State University Eagles defended their title and were crowned the 2013 National Club Football Association (NCFA) champions after successfully defeating Middle Georgia State, 38-13. Athlete Gavin Hux was awarded MVP honors for his impressive ground game.
Last year, the Eagles beat Miami University of Ohio Red Hawks to be crowned the 2012 NCFA champions.
Founded in the Spring of 2011, the CSU Club Football program has been purposed with providing students with the opportunity to play full-contact football at the collegiate level, in the absence of an officially recognized National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA) team.
