Nurturing Potential... Transforming Lives

Application

Dear Coppin State University Student:

Thank you for your interest in the Maxie Collier Scholars Program. The primary goal of the Program is to recruit more minority students into the field of mental health. We currently accept students who have declared majors in the natural sciences, nursing, psychology, or social work.

Please read through the requirements for the Program. If you are interested in a career in mental health within the State of Maryland and meet the requirements of the Program, I encourage you to print the application and return all necessary documents, including 3 letters of recommendation, the personal statement, a copy of your Maryland driver's license or proof of Maryland citizenship, the agreement form, and signed documentation from your Coppin State University advisor to HHSB Room # 522 no later than March 23, 2010.

If at any time you have additional questions, please contact me at 410.951.3486.

Thank you again for your interest.

Sincerely,
Julie Manley

Coordinator
