A collection of nearly1200 plays by African American, African, and Caribbean playwrights. Many of these plays, including some by major playwrights, are rare, out-of-print or previously unpublished. Related materials, including images, about the productions, theaters, actors, and other information are also included.

Black Thought And Culture: African Americans From Colonial Times To The Present
Over 38,000 pages of non-fiction writings by leading African Americans. Letters, essays, prefatory comments, interviews, journal articles, and more are included, much of it never before published. The collection will eventually contain over 100,000 pages.
