Bravo Recital

Showcase Information:

The BRAVO! Dance Showcase is scheduled for Saturday, May 11, 2013 in the James Weldon Johnson Auditorium at 2:00 PM. on the campus of Coppin State University. Students are scheduled to arrive 45 minutes prior to the dance concert (unless notified of any schedule changes).

Stage rehearsals are held in the James Weldon Johnson Auditorium during students scheduled class times beginning during the month of May. A more detailed schedule is posted (and emailed) in advance for parents to make the necessary arrangements for their child to attend ALL stage rehearsals. Note: Some classes may need additional rehearsal time either in the theater or studio!

Advanced Ticket Reservations:

The Dance Program at 410-951-3355 for ticket reservations prior to the day of the showcase. No tickets are reserved on the day of the show. University parking fees may apply. Street parking is available.

Concert Photo Session:

Information on the photo shoot will be announced.

Spring Dance Showcase:

The Spring Dance Showcase (SDS) is scheduled for Saturday, May 11, 2013 @ 2:00 p.m. in the James Weldon Johnson Auditorium. Tickets are available for pick-up the week of April 1, 2013. tickets sales must be paid for prior to May 1, 2012.

A detailed schedule is posted two weeks in advance. Only students who attend the stage rehearsal may perform in the ending of the year concert - no exceptions!

Recital Costumes:

No refunds after December 1, 2011.

Recital Requirement:

All fees must be paid in full for students to participate in any performance opportunities- no exceptions!

All students must attend the stage rehearsal to perform in the final production. Student absent from class during the month March and April may jeopardize their placement in the final performance production.

Showcase Cast Party:

A dancer's cast party is planned. More information will be available at a later date.

Performance Fee:

(Required of all students enrolled in the program)

• Pre-Professional Dance Division Fee: $40.00 + Adult Performance Tickets =$100.00
  Includes 2 Master Classes, 2 workshops and 4 spring concert performance tickets

• Intermediate Dance Division Fee: $30.00 + Adult Performance Tickets = $90.00
  Includes 1 Master Class, 2 workshop and 4 spring concert performance tickets

• Children’s Dance Division Fee: Student: $20.00 + Adult Performance Tickets = $80.00
  Includes 1 Master Class, 1 workshop and 4 spring concert performance tickets

Students enrolled in the program may attend Dance Program Concerts free of charge (based on seating availability). Parents are required to pay for their ticket. Additional spring concert performance tickets are sold for these performances through the box office to help offset the costs of the production.

3 costumes = $150.00
