Putting Skills into Action

There's a big difference between the classroom and the workforce. The School of Professional Studies helps bridge this gap by providing its students with real-world experience.

As an official Employment Network with the Social Security Administration’s Ticket to Work (TTW) program, Rehabilitative Services students within the School of Professional Studies’ Rehabilitation Counseling Program (RCP) get a one-of-a-kind opportunity to put their skills into action.

The federal program helps those who receive Social Security Disability Insurance (SSDI) or Supplemental Security Income (SSI) return to work. By providing job readiness skills to disabled and blind individuals, the collaborative program provides valuable internship and practical training opportunities for RCP students.

It's the type of experience that makes Coppin students stand out from the crowd, enabling them to not just hit the ground running after graduation—but lead the pack.
