The CCSD offers outreach services to address the developmental needs of CSU students and specialized programming to address critical issues, emphasize prevention, and promote mental health among students. Services and programs include but

The CCSD offers a variety of workshops related to college success.

Topics include, but are not limited to:

  • Depression and Anxiety
  • Alcohol and Other Drugs
  • Grief and Loss
  • Sexual Assault/Rape
  • Stress Management
  • Sexual Orientation Issues
  • Suicide Prevention
  • Test and Performance Anxiety
  • Anger Management
  • Time Management

Outreach Programs

The CCSD participates in a number of awareness events and outreach activities related to mental health and personal well-being. We are dedicated to providing outreach programs that empower students to persist academically, and to develop personally and socially in a nurturing environment. We annually participate in National Depression Screening Day and National Alcohol Screening Day. Past CCSD outreach events have included: Alcohol Awareness Month, Valentine's Day Relationship Reality Check, and Stress Recess just to name a few.
