Public Policy and Government Relations
What We Do
The Office of Public Policy and Government Relations serves as the primary point of contact between Coppin State University, the Office of the President, and state and federal government offices and legislative bodies. This office works with elected officials, executive branch leaders and other universities to develop and implement strategies and programs to achieve public funding goals and to foster positive and effective ongoing relationships. The Office of Public Policy and Government Relations monitors key legislative issues and activities that may be of interest to or impact the University community. This office serves the interests of Coppin State University's students, faculty, staff, and alumni by working closely with University leaders, faculty, and student government to improve the understanding of and support for the University's academic, technological, and public and community engagement goals.
