Global Studies Major
All Global Studies majors complete a core set of courses, then follow an upper-level track in either regional studies or global skills. The core courses are described below.
Global Studies CORE Courses (total: 45 Credit hours)
- Foreign Languages (18 credits)
Global Studies majors are required either; to complete 18 credits of progressively advancing coursework in one foreign language, or to complete 12 credits of progressively advancing coursework in one western foreign language and 6 credits in a non-Western language, or to demonstrate proficiency in a foreign language at an advanced level.
