School of Graduate Studies

Application Procedure

A bachelor's degree from an accredited institution is prerequisite for admission to graduate study.

To apply for admission to programs in the School of Graduate Studies, the procedures are:

  1. Obtain an application from the School of Graduate Studies
  2. Complete the application for admission and return it with the non-refundable application fee of $45.00 to:
  3. The Office Of Admissions
    Coppin State University
    School of Graduate Studies
    2500 West North Avenue
    Baltimore, Maryland, 21216-3698

  4. Arrange to have official copies of test scores, if applicable, and official transcripts sent from all college and universities attended and three letters of recommendation sent to the Director of the Office of Admissions at the above address. Transcripts sent by the student are not acceptable.

Please note that transcripts from foreign institutions must be evaluated by the American Association of Collegiate Registrars and Admissions Officers (AACRAO) or World Educational Services (WES). The student must request this evaluation and that an official summary of the evaluation is forwarded to the University.
