Student Evaluation

Visual & Performing Arts

A student's grade evaluation will be based on:

• Performance attendance
• Class attendance and lateness
• Knowledge of vocal parts
• Knowledge of singing parts and music reading skills
• Performance skills and choral terminology

An A will only be given to students who accomplish all of the above requirements 90% of the time.

By the end of the course, the student will be able to:

• Read music signs and symbols
• Demonstrate explain terminology associated with choral music
• Sing a variety of choral genres
• Perform using correct vocal production
• Perform using acceptable choral techniques

There will be a performance and written exam at the end of each semester.
