Application Process

To apply for financial aid, students must:

• Complete a Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) or complete your application online at http://www.fafsa.ed.gov.
• List Coppin State University on FAFSA (School Code: 002068)

Verification

A number of students will be selected for verification. This process requires the Financial Aid Office to verify certain items on the student aid report. The office checks the information which was submitted to Coppin and on the FAFSA for accuracy. Students whose applications are selected for verification must submit:

• A completed verification worksheet (Click For Verification Worksheet Forms)
• * Student tax returns
• * Parents' tax returns (dependent students)
• * Spouse's tax return (married students)
• Verification of non-taxed income

* Complete Federal tax return, including all schedules and W2 Forms
