The Carter G. Woodson Lecture is an annual event here at Coppin State University. It serves as the formal kick-off for African American History Month observance.

On behalf of the African American History Month Committee and The Humanities Department, please join us for the Carter G. Woodson Lecture on Thursday, February 19, 2015, from 11:00 a.m. to 12:20 p.m. in the Atrium of the Talon Center.  This keynote lecture will be delivered by Ms. Barbara Dunn, a commissioner who serves on the Maryland Commission For African American History and Culture.
