2011 Summer Youth Dance Program
Purpose of the Program:
The scope of the program is to provide a comprehensive dance education program for middle and high school students in the area of somatic arts, cultural dance and contemporary dance forms. The program will meet the needs of the beginner student requiring additional resources and the more advanced level or prepared student. It is important to note that students will engage in STEM centered learning activities through Arts Education. Additional studies include health and nutrition principles and practices.
Summer Intensive Dance Program Sessions:
Modern Dance, Liturgical, Ballet, and Yoga
Session #2 - Monday, June 27 - Friday, July 8, 2011 (2 WEEKS)
Jazz, Musical Theater, and Tap
Session #3 - Monday, July 11 - Friday, July 22, 2011 (2 WEEKS)
African Dance, Hip Hop, Tap, Yoga and Body Percussive Boot Dance
Session #4 CANCELLED - Monday, July 25 - Friday, July 29, 2011
Ballet, Pilates, and Yoga

Summer Camp Fee:
5 Weeks = $400.00 (Based on $80.00 per week)
4 Weeks = $360.00 (Based on $90.00 per week)
3 Weeks = $300.00 (Based on $100.00 per week)
2 Weeks = $220.00 (Based on $110.00 per week)
1 Week = $120.00
Registration is accepted throughout the summer!

Two Levels will be offered:
Level A: Beginning-Adv. Beginning
Level B: Intermediate-Adv. Intermediate
Additional Information:
- Students should bring a lunch, water and a light snack. Lunch will be provided on each Friday.
- Open swimming is held on Tuesday and Thursday from 12-2:00 p.m. Students should bring a lock to secure their belongings during the daytime. Locks must be removed at the end of each day.
- No classes held on July 4, 2011.
