BRAVO! DANCE FIRST STEP PROGRAM:
The First Steps program focuses on developing and improving basic movement techniques preparing the body and the mind to perform at a higher level of mental concentration and physical endurance for the next level. A placement audition is not required.

BRAVO! DANCE NEXT STEP PROGRAM:
The Next Step Program offers students with some prior training who are interested in a more intense training program. Students are required register several classes. The curriculum is a continuum of the first step program requiring students to concentrate on perfecting their technical training. A placement audition is not required.

THE FINAL STEP PROGRAM:
A Placement Audition or Consent by instructor is required. The Final Step Program offers students with previous years of training classes designed to stretch their technical and artistic performance abilities. Students placed in the Final Step program must register for several classes per week to develop their skills as a young performing artist.

PRE-PROFESSIONAL STEP 1 PROGRAM (Ages 10+):
Students are required to attend a Placement Audition (first class) or receive consent by instructor to participate in the Pre-professional Training Program.
The Pre-Professional Dance Training Program offers students with significant training skills to continue their studies by focusing on honing their technique and performance skills. Pre-professional students are required to register for a ballet and/or modern dance class in additional to other classes. These students are expected to participate in Dance Week Master Class Series with guest artists and the New York Dance Trip.
Request for an exception must be in the form of a written petition prior to registering for any classes.

Class Descriptions:
* The Vaganova Academy of Russian Ballet is one of the most famous and influential classical ballet schools in the world, and is named after the renowned pedagogue Agrippina Vaganova, who cultivated the method of classical ballet training that has been taught at the school since the late 1920s. Graduates of the school include some of the most famous ballet dancers, choreographers and teachers in history and many of the world's leading ballet schools have adopted elements of the Vaganova method into their own training. Students of the school are successful in achieving employment with ballet and contemporary companies worldwide, such as the Bolshoi Ballet, The Royal Ballet, American Ballet Theatre and the Mikhailovsky Ballet.
