The Dance Company

Coppin State University has two residential dance companies: The Coppin University Dance Ensemble and Moving In The Spirit Praise Dancers. Both dance companies' work with guest artists who have extensive performance and teaching experience. Dance company members engage in a whole range of educational and performance venues throughout the mid-Atlantic region to increase their awareness of various disciplines and styles of dance.

Master Classes & Workshops

The dance company sponsors master classes and workshops throughout the year, and an artists-in-residence program with visiting guest artists in the field of dance and technology.
