Dear Parents,

This letter is sent to inform you that school will be closed for Freshman only (9^th grade) on Wednesday, November 14, 2007 and on Friday, November 16, 2007 the entire school grades 9, 10 and 11.

During both days students will have academice assignments to complete while they are at home. These assignments will be graded, used as a test grade and added to your child's second quarter grades.

School is closed on Wednesday, November 14, 2007 so that 8^th grade students from the area middle schools can come to Coppin Academy to prepare for the 9^th grade selection lottery.The eighth graders will tour our school, work in classes with our teachers and hopefully make the decision to attend Coppin Academy next year.

On Friday, November 16, 2007 parents are asked to come to Coppin Academy between 10:00am and 5:00pm to hold a report card conference with teachers.
