Client Computing Services
The mission of the Client Computing Service is to enable the effective use of information technology in support of the University. We are responsible for the maintenance, upgrades and operational support of all personal computers within Coppin State University.
In pursuit of this mission, CCS's goals are to:
- Respond to customer requests for assistance in software and hardware related problems. Our objective in this regard is to achieve the highest level of customer satisfaction.
- Support the use and development of information technology to enable academic innovation in teaching, learning, and research.
- The Computing Help Desk provides computing assistance to members of the Coppin community. Through our Help Desk and on-site services, we provide a full range of computing assistance on IS supported products and services for the Microsoft Windows operating system.
- Utilizing a Help Desk system to assist in logging, routing, tracking, metering, reporting and solving the IT problems and requests submitted by members of the Coppin community.
You may send requests or questions to the Help Desk at any time. E-mailed questions are usually answered the next business day, often sooner and telephone calls are returned during the Help Desk business hours (7:30 am - 8:00pm). Some questions need additional investigation and may take longer time to answer. If this is the case, the Help Desk will notify you of the status of your request.
