What is Wellness?

Wellness is an active process of becoming aware of and making choices toward a successful existence.

Wellness helps you take charge of your health and provide the tools by which you can achieve health and wellness through educational programs and health screenings.

Wellness is an active process that allows people to make choices in creating and maintaining lifestyles. It includes a positive approach to life and health that helps to maximize the individual's potential. A wellness lifestyle is associated with good physical health, emotional and spiritual stability, improved relationships, as well as increased satisfaction and joy.

"Wellness is an active process through which people become aware of, and make choices towards, a more successful existence." – Judd Allen, PhD (National Wellness Institute, US)
