The Reading Center's main purpose is to help students improve their reading and study skills. Any Coppin student who wishes to upgrade his/her reading skills may come to the Reading Center. Reading Center tutors work with students to strengthen important reading and study skills for a successful academic career.

Tutoring is available for:

  • Effective Textbook Reading Strategies
  • Reading Strategies Across Content Areas
  • Reading Speed
  • Vocabulary
  • Reading Comprehension

The Reading Center houses a library of reference text and print exercises and offers and ongoing series of workshops.
