Meeting the Demand for Health Information Management Professionals
As technology continues to strengthen the nation’s health care industry, health information management professionals are becoming as crucial to health care as health care providers.
Created to meet the growing need for health information management professionals, Coppin State University’s new School of Allied Health is the only higher education institution in the state of Maryland to offer an accredited four-year degree program in Health Information Management (HIM).
With dedicated faculty, small classes, and state-of-the-art education technologies, students graduate from the School of Allied Health ready to enter their chosen field—often with job offers before they even graduate.
It’s just one more way the College of Health Professions is meeting both student career needs and the nation’s need for outstanding health care professionals.
